Gatwick Airport Terminal Information

As soon as you enter the terminal, large airline information displays advise you of the location of your check in desk. Once you have checked in, but before security you will have the opportunity to have a drink or visit numerous shops. Please see the guide below.

Monitors are spread throughout the terminal advising gate numbers and expected departure times. Apart from shops there are several outlets for travel facilities.

Special Needs

Hard of Hearing

Look for the sympathetic ear symbol signs for induction loops, which amplify announcements, or for passengers wearing hearing aids switch to “T”. Induction loops are found throughout the terminal, in the special needs areas and at information desks.
Payphones and credit card phones are all adapted for use with hearing aids and text payphones are also available throughout the terminal.

Partially Sighted.

Guide dogs are allowed in the terminal building. Directional signing is black on yellow for maximum contrast and low level monitors for flight information is available in reserved seating.

Toilets

Wheel chair access and unisex toilet facilities for the disabled are located near or in most toilet blocks.

Reserved seating is clearly identified in the main seating areas and provide the following.

• Induction loop
• Arms on both sides of seats
• Wheelchair access
• Low level monitors
